she was having contractions, and her 'waters' broke that is the muscous plug came out. i rang the vet and explained yesterday what happened - she said as long as she is comfortable and no blood or green stuff coming out she should be ok, but im getting worried now since nothing has happened. I'm 99% sure she hasn't gone off to have them, she won't let me touch her tummy at all to feel, and she is very clingy and doesn't want to be alone

i wouldn't leave it too many more hours before she gives birth to a kitten. Perhaps take her to a vet and they can give her oxytocin to kick the contractions on and make it happen quicker.
The fact that she appears relaxed is not always a good thing as she may have just got really tired and has given up trying inwhich case she will need a caesarian

Cats many times circulate the kittens while they're youthful. this is instinctive, and that they do it to maintain the kittens risk-free. moving them around prevents predators from looking them. If she has been spending very lots of time with the kittens over the previous 2 days, it would desire to describe the shrink in ingesting. She probably saved up some fat purely previous to giving start so as that she would desire to concentration on the kittens truly than seek for foodstuff. additionally, cats many times eat the placenta after giving start. i'm uncertain how nutritional this is, yet which would be related to the lack of ability of starvation good now. wish this helps!

No, that is not so normal. I'd call her vet soon. He will probably say to bring her in, but they can give her something to have those babies.

How do you know that she is in labor? Why are you allowing your cat to breed? Do you know how many cats and kittens are killed in shelters everyday?
