Girlfriend is always telling me… “I love you more.” Is this a saying of some kind or is she trying to get me angry? I really do love her a lot but am annoyed by her saying that.

I bet she's trying to be cute, but there's nothing wrong with telling her honestly that you don't really like that comment. Tell her it makes love seem competitive or that it makes your relationship seem out of balance if she truly felt that way. It's an easy thing to stop saying, so just be honest with her.

Just take it as it is, without finding any meanings to it. No it is not a saying of any kind, but probably she wants to let you know that she loves you more, probably indicating that she loves you more than you may be loving her....Probably you are not as expressive as her, and I think you ought to tell her, that love is not by saying ''I love you more'', its how it feels inside you, and no way does your love go less or lesser than her just because you may not be saying it. So everytime she says that, you feel sad that she does not see how much you do love her....try that...and see what she says...
In any case, just push it away..ignore it...and one more thing, please do find out why you are getting ''annoyed'' by it..thats something for you to work out...is there something else in your mind...I mean, the annoyance coming from something that you havent said here, like maybe, just maybe that youreally dont..love her as much...or perhaps something thats irritating about her...and you hvent really thought about it..I dont know, sorry if iam wrong...however, just peep in and see ...theres really nothing to be annoyed about here...

Yea that is annoying, it's like high school bs. Love is not some game or a word just to say, the more you say it over and over the meaning becomes kinda trival.

my kids say that...and i say that to my kids. :) :) we giggle and smile...it ends quickly cuz i end it or it will go on and on. i just say youre right..you win this round. :)
