Making it easy : I am a 27 year old male, working in a major IT consulting firm( Faith : Hinduism). I got a promotion at my job 2 months back and my company recruits a lady as a replacement for my previous role in the company. (Her profile: 29 year old, faith Christianity) I was entrusted her on the job training, and I realised that every word she spoke was stolen from my thoughts... she is smart and outgoing. She lives in Delhi /India with her mother and unmarried younger sister( heads up on mother: a pious lady with strong belief in her god, and faith). 3 weeks back i confided my feelings for her over the phone..as distance is a certain Barrier...her reply was that I am that Ideal man in her thoughts that she wants to spend her life with, but she is confused with another guy who apparently helped her a lot in her life...(he proposed her / but she has no feelings for him other than gratitude ) ..does this relation have a future???

Yeah It could have a future. Take things slow, don't read to much into it. Just enjoy each others company and see where it leads.

Well, are you ready to become Christian or is she ready to become a Hindu? The too religions are quite too different. The other guy actually isn't a problem since there's no love but before you commit yourself to fantasy, wake up, based on religion will it work? For a relationship to succeed common belief is very vital. If you are both religious it wont work, if not it might work with alot of effort to show the other just how pleasurable there life would be with a sweetheart like you!! Good luck

if you guys believe it will work out, it will. gratitude will never turn into love. but also evaluate yourself if you can stand the distance and all the differences between the two of you so nobody will regret in the end.

NO one knows the future except ALMIGHTY GOD in Heaven.
If a relationship IS meant to be for you and this lady, it WILL happen.
Time will tell. Good Luck.

Hi,
