The crime scene investigators mishandled evidence. There was a video of one officer sticking a pair of OJ's shoes into the back flooring of his car, without the shoes being wrapped in plastic.

Blood samples were placed in an area where they could have been contaminated.

Mark Furman, a cop, lied on the stand about ever saying the "N" word; yet they had a tape of hip saying the word several times; thus, destroying a key witness for the prosecution's credibility.

The real culprit was DA Gil Garceti, who should have had charges filed in Santa Monica, instead of L.A.

With a racially-mixed L.A. jury hearing a white cop lying about the "N" word; and in the aftermath of the exoneration of several white L.A. cops in the Rodney King matter, Jury nullification of the evidence came into play.

go to www.history.com and find the facts in reference to all your questions, they have audio/visual as well to review the trial?
Otherwise a quick way to explain is Furmer a policeman on the case, planted evidence to incriminate OJ. He confessed on the stand after committing purgery. So there you have it! All the other things are moot. Because of that Mickey Mouse could have gotten him off! Marsha Clark and her bedroom buddy should have had control over their witnesses, especially government people like the police. Clear case of the right hand and left hand.
They give Cochran all that fame, but Shapiro was the first and primary attorney and ran that trial well, then came F. Lee Bailey and he wasn't needed, and when the N word came up then came Cochran for the final coup, but he work was done by Shapiro, and by the time Cochran took over it was just elementary! But the N word was not what got him off at all ever! It was botched up laboratory work with the evidence, and the planted evidence. They screwed it up and I think it was all on purpose too! Many Drug Dealers involved and certainly not the low profile ghetto types, extremely wealthy Arab buddies of OJ? Look it up? OJ used to go to a place in Vegas called the Marakesh Express? Big Huge Drug smuggling restaurant with pillows on the floor and turkish hookah pipes? ha ha

It was proven on the stand that Mark Fuhrmann had used the "N" word and was basically a racist, when on the stand had testified that he had never said the "N" word. That placed in the minds of the jury that the blood evidence was planted by Fuhrmann since there were only 2 or 3 drops of blood in Simpson's vehicle. The defense also convinced the jury that the bloody leather gloves found were also planted evidence. ( "If they don't fit, the jury must acquit.") Johnnie Cochran, OJ's primary attorney, did a great job of placing in the minds of the jury that most of the evidence was circumstantial & nothing relative to the murder was ever found or established.

Nothing. The District Attorney's office botched it, especially when they didn't even know about the glove not fitting, due to shrinkage from the blood, and the subsequent washing of it for the trial. As he plays golf every day, what is he doing to find the "real killers" as he said he was going to do? He will burn in Hell, so let him enjoy the little time he has left here.

I was in an Interview and Interrogation class that used his first sit down with the law interview transcript as a training paper....he "confessed" 6 times but the officers didnt pick up on the cues...he also had a bag with him that he brought into the interview room and he admitted it "had a knife" in it...they missed that too...he gave it to his lawyer upon leaving the room and he ditched it....the cops blew it big time...he came into that room ready to confess to someone...once he got to his atty it was all over but the show...

One thing was not blowing his @ss off the highway, because if it were any plain citizen, the cops would have rammed his car, used the PIT manuver, and beat his @ss like a pinata, thats why celebrities get away with so much crap, that the regular people do not get away with........

O. J. Simpson became a nicely-known soccer participant, and after he retired, he did somewhat of appearing. His important declare to acceptance is that he became accused and tried for the homicide of his ex-spouse. there became a longtime historic previous of violence between them simply by fact the police have been referred to as different situations simply by fact he became bodily abusing her. there became blood information on the scene and blood stumbled on on his outfits that reported he became the killer, however the jury acquitted him. Oddly sufficient, he became those days tried and convicted of stealing some activities memorabilia.

Hard to explain in such a small space, but they screwed up everything, mishandled evidence, used interns in a high profile case made many common mistakes that wouldn't have been made if they had used proper team. Judge Ito let defence get away witha lot of crap he liked to be on film. It was a circus.

Whatever aid they gave Simpson was not intentional, it was more of bungling things while collecting evidence, which his high priced lawyers twisted to make him look innocent.

One of them used the "n" word once.

That's it - anything else is a cop-out. There were no "imperfections" or "errors" that had they not been made would have resulted in that jury convicting OJ.
