Brides frequently wear earrings or a delicate necklace on their wedding day, either would make a beautiful gift for her to wear on her special day and to cherish afterward as ur gift to her. Best Wishes to you both.

a watch will quit over time and that is not the kind of symbol you want your wife tro think of on your wedding day and all the years after. have you htought of a diamond marriage symbol? it's a 3 stone diamond captured in the center of 2 encircled bands. very beautiful and symbolic as well. this website has some nice ones and they are not that expensive. good luck and best wishes on the upcoming marriage

i think it should be something more personal. think of the things you did together early on in your relationship, and get mementos from those things. did you go to a concert(get a cd)? did you have a favorite restaurant(get a gift card or a monogrammed napkin or menu), did you go to a museum(take pics there or get a program),did you take vacations(make a album of the pics taken there) i would do things like that. it isn't the amount of money spent it is the thought and time put behind it. i would get a memory box and fill it with little things from the things and places you enjoyed each others company and essentially fell in love. i think it is incredibly personal and something she can keep for ever. i would also put a copy of your wedding invitation right on top. she can also add to it over the years, mementos from your honeymoon, ultrasounds of the children you may have. these are my suggestions good luck i hope this helps and congrats

if she does not possess any watch, then it is alright if you present her with a " beautiful watch". But i will prefer beautiful
gold-ear-rings which every lady is proud to own and display to others. present her whatever you like. afterall what matters is your action. the fact that you present your wife with some thing worth is more important. women appreciate the action and they give secondary importance to the actual gift.
i wish you a happy wedding-day-make it as romantic as possible. let your life always be filled with mutual love and great
understanding

A watch seems somewhat impersonal to me. Think about her likes...
is she a purse lover? get her a fantastic designer bag that she has always wanted but couldnt afford, great accesory while on your honeymoon
does she love jewlery? Get her a fantastic necklace that she can wear on the wedding day. If you stick with pearls or diamonds you can really go wrong
Into shoes? You can never go wrong witha pair of Manalo Blahniks or Jimmy Choos
A cook? Get her that amazing copper pot set
Think unique, something she has always wanted but could never get for herself

My husband gave me a gold beautiful bracelet with a diamond circled by sapphires (my birthstone). The unique thing about this bracelet is that you can add to it as the years go by. Check out their website: wwwjabel.com
I think any woman would love to have one of these bracelets. Their design is timeless and they are extremely high quality sold only in fine jewelry stores. Of course the watch is a good idea too, unless it breaks. She will love whatever you give her. Congratulations and good luck!!

I would have to say that a watch is a good gift for maybe her birthday or something, but for your wedding I would say go with something like a tennis braclet with a message of some sort engraved. That is what I would go with.

A watch sounds lovely - it would be a very sentimental gift. Otherwise jewellery is always a winner.
Sometimes being a little more original can work really well. My husband gave me an ipod which I loved!

It had better be some watch. I would go more for real or cultured pearls. If that isn't her thing I would think some diamond stud earrings (to go with her ring).
