You need something before you workout, I would go with something small, and then after your workout eat your big breakfast because after you work out your metabolism is at its highest.

To be perfectly honest, everybody is different, and you will have to decide what works for you. Sports science tends to argue that you should have a light meal sometime before you work out. If you workout in the morning and have to go straight to work, this can be difficult if you also want to eat breakfast.
When exactly do you workout? If you workout in the morning, I would say eat the snack in the morning and progress towards a big dinner. Otherwise, keep doing what you're doing.
FYI, personally, I eat three rather large meals a day. I do a pretty hard workout in the morning after a (relatively) large breakfast, and it has never done me any harm. But my biggest meal of the day is definitely dinner.

Now before answering this completely, you must know that I am not a fitness expert and just know this out of what I have done myself in the past.
First of all, it is a good thing you eat your biggest meal as breakfast. It truly is the most important meal of the day. Just try not to cut down so much on dinner. It holds importance too. Without a fully balanced dinner, your body will not be satisfied. If it is not satisfied with what you ate, it might crave, which will lead to unwanted excess eating.
I think you should eat breakfast after your dinner. Some people say before so that you burn it off. But truth as it is, eating might make you work less because your body is still trying to digest. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but after i work out, i tend to eat more healthy. It seems to me that that's what you are going for. Nobody is going to work out hard and then settle on deep friend hash browns.

i dunno what you mean about dinner in the morning. I would call it breakfast (breaking the fast). What kind of workout do you do? Well reckon u do moderately heavy weightlifing as exercise.
You should take a good breakfast with about (depending on your weight) around 60 grams of complex carbs together with about 40 grams of proteine and 10 grams of fat (take a spoonfull of flax oil) for instance.
Breakfast might be one of if not the biggest meal of the day. It is good practise to devide the other meals over 5 times during the day. Pre workout should be a good meal too. Post workout, immediately after exercise a meal with simple carbs and quick digesting proteine is a good choice (for instance a serving of dextrose with whey proteine) it depends of course how hard you been training.

You should have a snack before you work out and eatt he rest of the meal afterwards. You don't want to be really full when you are working out, besides aftert the workout your metabolism will be much faster.
You de need to have something before you work out so you have some energy.

Yes, because after u eat and workout u loose the calories u ate. After eating workout (but give it time to digest) then treat urself with small healthy snacks such as baby carrots or fruits. =]

you don't want to exercise first thing in the am on an empty stomach. so either have something small to eat then exercise then eat breakfast. or eat breakfast then wait a good 1.5-2 hours then go workout...
