I have a male kitten. He doesn't spray (yet) but he makes noises like my other cat when he was in heat at the age of 7 months. I was thinking he's too young for that but what do I know. We already have an appointment for him to get fixed next Friday.

I start to think my kitty could be gay. He did the same thing like my female cat did before she was spayed 4 years ago. :))

Your male cat cannot be in heat. Now that I've said that, what I can say is there might be a female cat in heat somewhere around you. Males can smell Female cats that are in heat. I'm glad you are getting him fixed because what Male unfixed kittens do is fight other males for the honor of being with this Female cat and some of the Males get death-causing wounds. There are so many reasons to get cats fixed and keep them in the house at all times. Enjoy your new Kitty.

Male cats don't go into heat. Most vets recommend neutering at 5-6 months when males reach sexual maturity.

Cats can have kittens at 6 mos. Your male can carry on for weeks as females can. It's great to hear you are having him neutered!
