Lennox Lewis would be too big and have far too much power for Jones. Jones wouldn't hurt Lennox at all. Lennox was also quick for his size.

Lennox was being touted to face Roy, but decided that he wouldn't have anything to gain by beating up someone far smaller than him (same with Chris Byrd). The only way Lennox would have benefited from this fight would be by having Jones's name on his record.

I think Roy would come out and look tricky for a round. But once Lennox hits Jones hard and puts him on the deck, Roy would lose heart. Lennox in three rounds.

Lennox Lewis would easily take this. Roy Jones Jr was one of the greatest at middleweight and Light Heavy, but RJJ was not impressive at heavyweight. He fought bums. Lennox is a natural Heavyweight and took out some of the best heavyweights of his time. I Really don't see RJJ being able to take out Lewis or even come close. Lennox had way too much power and was too big for RJJ. Jones Jr is a great fighter, but he relied on his reactions too much, which went away at heavyweight. He kept his left hand low and that would leave him open for one of Lennox Lewis' devistating crosses. Leading to a KO.

If nothing else, roy was in condition, he had no problem going the distance like many of the light-heavys and heavys of today. If he fought smart, and kept lennox at bay with his lightning quick jab, he MIGHT have earned a decision. However, if Roy ever got fatigued, and Lennox was able to get some clean looks, God help Roy. Roy was talented in his prime, but fighting stick and move for an entire fight is extremely difficult and tiring, Lennox would only have to get his hands on Roy for about 10 seconds, and it woulda been lights out. Lennox no doubt

My opinion is in his "prime" Lennox Lewis could beat all but 7-8 of the best of all time heavyweights. Roy simply isn't on many people's list of top 50 heavyweights of all time. As a heavyweight Roy beat John Ruiz???? No match,

I don't see Lewis beating in their "prime", Ali, Frazier, Louis, Foreman, and there are more. Lewis is way too technical of a fighter to not at least be considered a threat against even the greatest heavyweights of all time!!!

Roy Jones is an all time top 20 fighter. This is in the history of boxing. He accomplished all of this at a lighter weight than what Lewis is. I liked another persons answer here that if Jones could last he might get the decision. I think that is all he could hope for.

Pound for Pound Roy Jones Jr. all day long, but with the weight advantage, Lennox would be to overwelming. With Roy Jones Jr. in his prime, there really wasnt anyone better, sorry Floyd.

Roy Jones Jr. isn't any doubt between the passable. he will annoyed Andre Ward and supplies you him a boxing lesson. regrettably, he keep interior the interest too lengthy and lots of fellows and women human beings in uncomplicated words think about his knock out on the hand of Antonio Tarver and Glenn Johnson in spite of the undeniable fact that this is now no longer the suitable Roy Jones.
