He took me out of New Orleans into a nice home. He also brought me the love of my life and new family i have to cherish. By this i learned to accept things as they come and that anything is possible. As long as you put full faith and devotion into him. When i lost my house in the strom i thought i wanted to die. Then one day i prayed for help. Every since then i been blessed and i pray for more blessings to come.

Knowing God has stopped my evil tongue, has helped me think of others more, has stopped a lot of my evil thoughts, has given me hope when things seem impossible, I have come to know that God really does answer prayers and comes through for us, has made me a better person in every respect. The list does not stop here because every aspect of my life has changed.

I honestly do not know where I would be without the love, grace and mercy of God. It amazes me how Jesus allowed himself to be tortured and killed in such a brutal way to save us. I still have a long way to go in becoming a better, more focused person and not sweating the small stuff(like why I'm still single at 41!!),but I thank God every single day for being beside me to help me through it. My wish is that everyone would come to know this love.

I had the most amazing spiritual awakening.
By the Grace of God & in Jesus name I was healed & no longer have ALS - degenerative, terminal incurable illness. I was on the verge of Being admitted to a Hospice & booked the delivery of an electrical wheelchair.
I surrender to God, never stop praying & consequntly I received miraculous healing.
There are so many more miracles in my life that I'm considering writing a book about it.

God has changed my life in many ways. One, I feel closer to Him now than when I was saved (almost a year ago). I feel as though He is a friend as opposed to just some shapeless enigma up in the sky with a paddle, waiting to smash me when i screw up.
Two, I can pray and know that my words reach Him (and don't just bounce off the sky and hit the ground again). I have faith that He will answer them on His timetable and in the best way. He knows what's best for me better than I do, and I may not always like how He answers prayer, but He does.
Three, I'm able to witness to others and bring them in by showing my joy and faith to them. It's a great feeling when you can actually feel God-given eloquence (especially if you're a tongue-tied like I am).
Four, I am assured of a place in heaven, since I've been saved by Him by acknowledging Christ as my Lord and Savior. I no longer fear where I'll go once I face death, because I know I'll be in Paradise with Him. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Five, I am forgiven whenever I sin (and I sin a lot). Christ died for our sins. He paid the price for us when He went to Calvary and died on the cross. God made Christ take on the shape of sin, get flogged severely and brutally, and even put His own Son to death for us because He loved us that much. Through Christ's blood, we're forgiven, and we're given the "innocent" verdict instead of a "guilty; time to spend eternity in hell" verdict (which we should get). "What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus." Through Christ, the slate is clean! I can rejoice in that.
Six, I listen to Christian music a lot now. And I like it! It's not all old people singing hymns that date back to the beginning of the Church (two thousand years ago!). It's dynamic, flowing, edgy, and passionate, and it's what I want to do with my life.
Hope this is concise enough. If you need anything, let me know; I believe you can IM or email me.
God bless,
Jake

PS listen to the song "Awakening" by Seven Places (from their album "Lonely for the Last Time"). It's good.

God has been there for me and carried me through many tough times. I never feel alone because of Him. I had a near death experience that I know was real and I can tell you it was the most beautiful feeling ever. I had a choice to come back and I did, but I look forward to going back to be with my Father one day and I no longer fear dying, because once you know that Jesus Christ died for your sins, you know that you will have eternal life. God loves us all.

No God has done anything for anyone in all of history!
Now the idea of a God has had a greal impact on how people treat others and how they judge right and wrong. However to say how has God impacted a person life is inaccurate. It would be better said how has the idea of a God impacted your life. That is after all all God can be. AN IDEA!
God can't be a fact since facts can be proven to be real and God can not be proven to be real otherwise there would be no Atheists!

I was raped at 17 and got pregnant from it... my daughter was premature and had to fight like hell to survive after she was born.
When I look into my daughter's eyes, hear her say, "Mommy," hear her addictive laughter, see her excel in so many aspects of life... she is now 4 years old and even though she doesn't know it, she reminds me each day of how God has changed my life life.
When I named her, I didn't discover until about a month afterward that her name means "fighter, survivor." How interesting considering how she came to be as well as after she was born. I'm incredibly blessed beyond words.
