I mean what if you really liked a person and you agreed with, lets say pro abortion even though you were anti abortion just to have them like you?

No. I would never compromise a value I had for someone else. If it was something I didn't care strongly about, I might be quiet about it. An example here might be whether Churches should be taxed. I can see both sides of the debate, and am unsure. In a debate, I could just shut up about that one.

Why agree with someone to have them like you? Say you end up marrying this person,would still agree with them if your belief is different? That doesn't make a lot of sense. Be who you are and not someone your not.

normally when something like this occurs, I don't agree or disagree. sometimes i agree just to end the conversation, its better than arguing for hours. everyone is entitled to their opinions, unless you believe in god. then god would tell you how to think, right?

No, cuz I'm not that shallow. I don't need to change my beliefs so someone will like me. If they don't like me simply because of my standpoints on certain subjects, then screw em'! I won't change myself for anyone.

no! my beliefs arent to be toyed with to impress anyone and if we dont have anything in common then i dont care if they like me or not.
