I work 2nd shift so my sleep schedule is reverse of a lot of peoples. I usually wind down between 2 and 3am, sometimes I can't fall asleep untill 6am, it gets old sometimes.

I Have to have at least 8 hours of sleep to feel good in the morning, so i base my bed time on what time i have to be up. I don't work tomarrow so i am still up at 2 am. But on Thursdays i have to get up at 6:30 am, so i go to bed at 10:30pm on Wed.

its is suggested that we get at least 8 hours of sleep. it all depends on how busy you are after work to figure out what your bedtime would be. Myself, my bedtime is whenever I feel like crawling into bed. I do start winding down around 8pm. Kids are in bed by 9pm. Normally under blankets around midnight :) Everyone is different.
