Yes, definitely we can see him. Therefore, God has given various ways and means how we can see him. God is Great and thus it requires humility on our part to be qualified to see him. At present our eyes are materially contaminated and therefore we cannot see the spiritual form of the Lord. We have to qualify ourselves.

At first Arjuna wanted to see the Universal Form of the Lord, and thus requested the Lord as mentioned in the Bhagavad-gita(11.4)
"If You think that I am able to behold Your cosmic form, O my Lord, O master of all mystic power, then kindly show me that unlimited universal Self". The Lord reciprocated with Arjuna's request and said as menioned in Bhagavad-gita(11.8), "But you cannot see Me with your present eyes. Therefore I give you divine eyes. Behold My mystic opulence!" After seeing universal form and praying to Krishna Arjuna says, Bhagavad-gita(11.46), "O universal form, O thousand-armed Lord, I wish to see You in Your four-armed form, with helmeted head and with club, wheel, conch and lotus flower in Your hands. I long to see You in that form."

The Lord Again reciprocates with Arjuna's prayer and says (49),
"You have been perturbed and bewildered by seeing this horrible feature of Mine. Now let it be finished. My devotee, be free again from all disturbances. With a peaceful mind you can now see the form you desire". As mentioned in the next verse(50) Lord Krishna showed to Arjuna His real four-armed form and at last showed His two-armed form, thus encouraging the fearful Arjuna.

Now, we are not in a position to ask the Lord directly like Arjuna, but the Lord through the revealed holy scriptures and as confirmed by His representatives has given us the process as to how we can see the Lord in the four yugas.
1. Satya-yuga by meditating on Vishnu,
2. Treta-yuga by performing sacrifices,
3. Dvapara-yuga by serving the Lord's lotus feet in the temples
4. Kali-yuga simply by chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.

So, the Hare Krishna maha-mantra is the prayer to be engaged in pure loving devotional service to the Lord. When we are sincere in our prayers of chanting Hare Krishna maha-mantra the Lord reveals Himself and then we can see Him.

HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA
KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE
HARE RAMA HARE RAMA
RAMA RAMA HARE HARE

The meaning of the above prayer is as follows,
"O Supreme Energy of Krishna and O Lord Krishna, please engage me in Your eternal service." or in other words,
"O energy of the Lord [Hare], O all-attractive Lord (Krishna), O Supreme Enjoyer (Rama), please engage me in Your service."

In the name of Allah the most gracious the most Merciful.
We do not think that God is one,We know that there is only one God [ glory be to him ].Every authentic scriptures of the major
religions of this world , like The Quran, The Tohra,The Bible,
the Vedas, the Puranas, the upinishads, the bhajwat gita, the sikh
holy scriptures and so on all preach that there is only ONE GOD
and only He has the Right to be worshipped. Some religions
deviated from the original teachings and because of certain
rulers, Mythology, and cultutes present in history the proposed
and concieved a theory that GOD exists in different shapes and
sizes and forms, He is three GODs in one GOD and some
went futher to concieve a theory of anthropomorphism that God
comes down to the earth as a human being,or as an Avtaar
and the reason they give is because he wants to understand
human nature or behaviour or to save them and there are many
such theories.
In Islam we believe that there is only one God and none has the
right to be worshipped but Him.He is our creator and knows every cell in our body and every atom in this univeres, He does
not have to come Down and show himself but instead He sends
down Divine inspirations and revelations as an instruction
manual and sends prophets and messengers to teach us and
make us understand the Instruction Manual. We will never be
able to see God almighty in the present life but the prophet of
Islam muhammad [peace and blessings be upon him] informed
us that Allah will show himself to us on the Day of judgememt,

either we all become very very good or we become very very bad then only he can come on the earth in physical form like a human with some awatar(otherwise he is always present in every particle), otherwise simple prayer will not work. secondaly he will be in front of everybody but only those can see who have the eyes of vision.

I believe " God" is a force which drives this universe. Its energy and just as we can't see light or heat we can't see God. We have to realize him just as we realize warmth. God is omnipresent and its present in each and every human being. This is what we call as 'soul' and its the soul which acts as our conscience.

It would be wonderful if we all realise 'God is one'.
It could come about if we all pray for him ( normally we pray for our selves).
As for seeing him, it can come about from his grace.
