Wash your hands, dry them with newspaper. You will then have to wash them again to get the ink off your hands, but newsprint can have a neutralizing effect.
Use something equally smelly on them, but something you can tolerate more, like vinegar.
Dig into dirt outside and wash your hands with it. It's what your dog will do to get rid of an odor, roll in dirt. Then, of course, wash your hands.
Any of these can work. Depends on just how stinky the dog doo is. It can really be rank, as I guess your dog's tail mat was. Good luck.

When your dog has that problem, use a plastic bag or rubber gloves to remove it. You may try baking soda. His crap must stink extremely. Maybe he needs checked. He needs a bath and his butt cleaned good with shampoo. There are wipes that you can get to clean and bathe your dog. Sorry that I am more worried about the dog than you. But you have to cut your hair and clean your hands, then watch out. I can be a mean granny. Hubba hubba. Oh my, are you a girl/woman, sorry if you are. Take my hubba hubba back. I love men only.

If none of the above mentioned works out for you, Wash your hands with a household cleaner with bleach in it. The bleach will take care of the smell right away but, The bleach smell might stay with you for the day. If you smoke, the bleach on your hands will make your smoking taste very awful so be careful please.
Good Luck.

Wash and scrub with antibacterial soap. Also you can try rubbing lemon juice on your hand to help remove the smell (I have heard that it works with other smells, not sure about poop).

Wash with soap and baking soda. Baking soda removes odors and it is also a good exfoliant.
