My friend uses Ritalin, but I'm not a doctor so I don't know what side effects it might hold for you. Ask your doctor if Ritalin would work, then ask him what he would suggest (they like that).

OH GOD I HATED CONCERTA.....I had the SAME problem. Aderall XR works with me. I'm 21. Stratera doesn't work so well, and I had the same problem as with Concerta. I reccomend Adderall XR, I really do. I used it in highschool, then went a year without it, and the Doctor started me on Concerta. I quit taking it, and recent started taking Aderall XR again, and it's working wonderfully.
My best wishes to you.
ps. Ritelin is a bad idea. I took it and it had HORRIBLE side affects Including medicated annorexia, emotional instability, and headaches. I do NOT recommend it
Also talk to you doctor.

My brother and I both take 60mg of Straterra a day. 40mg was not enough to control the ADHD. And, it's not really a "stimulant" drug, per say. It doesn't seem to be affected by tolerance, like *Dexedrine, etc. And, supposedly, it's non-addictive, unlike Dexedrine, etc.

I know you are looking for medicine, but try this instead. Stop watching television, especially sitcoms which only make your ADD worse. They are not intended to focus your attention, they are fast and full of commercials. Read a book instead. It might be hard to concentrate at first but keep trying and you may fix your ADD all together.
