Find out the formality of the wedding and then go from there. A casual wedding will have more latitude than a formal wedding, but that doesn't mean that you should suffer from the heat. Lightweight flowing combed cottons will "wick" the perspiration away (to keep you cool) without making nasty stains. The combed cotton will have a shine to it so it will look dressy. Also check the style. The same fabric can be cut classically for a formal event or cut more free flowing for a casual event.

I was married in Jamaica in November. The temp then was about 80 degrees with a nice breeze. I would wear a sundress or skirt and dressy top. Also wear your hair up or it will blow in your face the whole time.

I would find something cool... it is going to be HOT!!! No silk/satin of any kind- you will see any type of pirspiration!
Find something flowy and tropical! unless it is formal? but bright colors i always remind me of jamaica! Also, keep in mind of what the brides wedding colors are and play off of that! you could get some inspiration! You have plenty of time! don't worry!

I guess it really depends on what color her colors are so that you can try to stay away from those colors...The other thing is I would wear something nice but cool...Maybe wear a knee length dress with spagetti straps...Hope this helps have fun and enjoy.

a short dress. strapless. it's gonna be hot. and since it's in the caribbean, i'd do a light, fun color. think, yellows, blue, teal, coral, pinks, etc.
