the way i see it is that what if everything flooded that would clean alot of the problems causing global warming and by melting all the ice new oxygen is realest from the ice and help purify are air!

There isnt new oxygen in the ice its the same oxygen in our atmosphere, ice doesnt make oxygen. Our atmosphere that we need to survive is not just based on oxygen, but nitrogen as well, humans cannot survive in a pure oxygen envioroment.

The earth will continue to heat after the ice is melted, scientists theorize that 1/3 of the earths surface will be baren desert by 2100 due to the warming. If everything flooded, people would die, more people would die from the climate heating up as well.

Not good for us.

I'd say bad, because of the crowding problems mentioned, and because some of the land that would be flooded is crop land.

And yes, science could be wrong. I don't want to bet my life on that, nor my nephew's life.

As far as realizing it's a problem? By the time somebody realizes that an avalanche is a problem, there may be rocks coming down. By the time somebody realizes there's too much ice on a plane's wings, it may be crashing in the Potomac river.

Sometimes, the time to deal with a potential problem is before it becomes a problem.

It is a conspiracy!

No seriously! How long have we been following weather patterns? Now most people will probably just jump up and have a problem with what I am saying. Show me whatever science you want, I still will not believe what you have to say because we just do not know!

So what, the summers are getting hotter, however the winters are getting colder.(Sorry for those of you that have never seen this thing called snow.. its pretty cool stuff actually!)

What happens if it is just part of the earths cycles? However we just believe something that almost anyone will say. (ex Al Gore) Sure everyone knows of him, does not mean he knows everything!

Its kind of like the war, lets get everyone supporting the government over the war, and now that we are starting to frown at that, we need another reason to back up our government. Truth is they dont hold the power we do, thats for another talk though.

So is global warming good for us! Hey sure why not! I could use some warmer times like tonight!

Just dont believe what everyone says, do your own research and get your own descion.

Two big reasons why it's not good.

We have built hundreds of billions of dollars of stuff along the coast. Losing it would hurt bad.

In poor countries, they can barely feed themselves already. Disruptions to agriculture caused by global warming and coastal flooding will mean millions of people will die of starvation.

if you think packing 2.5 times the current world population in 75% of the land currently above water is good, just wait until you hear about all the disease human beings in close quarters are capable of manifesting when all of the ice melts

doesnt sound right. flooding does clean out stuff, but it also leaves stagnate water leading to lots of disease. and melting ice leads to the death of poor polar bears. so i guess the answer is global warming isnt good. IT BAD!
