You should have him file separately but you should still claim him as a dependent...

It'll be a lower tax bill.

Do not add them to yours. I assume this is on a W-2. If he didn't have anything withheld for federal income taxes (box 2) then don't worry about it, there's no point in filing at all for him. If federal income taxes were withheld, then he should file a return to get his money refunded. He can file a 1040-EZ.

Why do you assert you will no longer be able to declare her as a based, you just about certainly can. until she is age 19 and 24 if she is an entire time student, she will earn as much as she will and you will nonetheless declare her. alongside with the based you additionally can take all the credit. She data her return exhibiting that somebody else claims her on their tax return.

Since he earned less than $5,150.00 he is not required to file a return. However if any income taxes were withheld he needs to file a return to get that tax refunded.

You do NOT claim his income on your return.

Let him file his own taxes. Make sure he files as a student so he pays no taxes. He should get any taxes that he payed in back. Check with a CPA to be sure or call the IRS. They will give you the information over the phone on how to file.
