Tonight is night #4. It's 10:30, she's screaming, she's been at this since about 9:00 (she slept from 7 to 9) and she's screaming. I've done Tylenol, teething tablets, letting her get up, holding her, ice chips... hmmm, oh yeah, ibuprofin yesterday... nothing is really working....

Any tips?? I need to chill without her crying in the background or knowing that she's going to start crying....

If I let her run around, she's okay for a bit but is drooling and constantly rubbing her hand in her mouth.... but since she's distracted, she's not crying....

ahhh, wait, I think she's falling asleep...... still, please tell me what I'm forgetting! Thanks!!!

You know my Grandma actually rubbed brandy on her babies
gums but that's totally un p c nowadays. Have you tried
putting a damp washcloth into the freezer until its sorta
icy/crunchy and letting her chew on that? Its a little sloppy
but can help. Antoher thing is giving her a raw green onion,
chewing on it releases a natural numbing agent, but some
babies don't like the flavor. I know how you feel, its a tough
time to get thru, especially when you get more and more
sleep deprived. Do you have a close friend or relative
who can come over for an hour or two so you can get a nap?
My friend and I used to trade off "rescuing" each other
whenever we flet we were on our last nerve.

Well my 15 month old just got two molars and is getting two more so I know how you feel!!!
Have you tried orajel? I know it is a pain to get in there but I would give it a try!!
I dont know if this is safe, but I let my daughter chew on the end of the tylenol bottle (you know the little white thing you squeeze to get the medicine in there) and it helps her because she can get it right on the molars and chew. Just make sure you watch her close, so she doesnt choke on it and so she doesnt bite through and get the medicine or anything. Things like teething rings dont get back there though so its worth a try!

My baby, too, is 18 months and let me tell you that those molars ae nasty! I allow my toddler to chew on a warm soaked washcloth. Also, keep your teething toys handy...I freeze mine which seems to be helping.

Also, check inside your child's mouth to see if there's no infection where the tooth is coming in. If so, you may need something strong than over the counter medication for the pain.

a frozen eggo waffle...not too messy, and the waffle actually absorbs some of the drool as they chew on it :-)
