I know you may get this question often, but I wanted to know for sure what breed my cat is.

He is a domestic short haired ginger tabby.
I assume its a male as they usually are, when there is a female ginger tabby born she is infertile.
A domestic short hair or DSH is a cat that is crossed and of no real identifiable breed (eg can't tell what breeds have mated to make this cat)If anyone tries to tell you its a specific breed I am sorry buy they are mistaken

go visit catster.com and you can get your cat a personal site! I have one for my cat, and it was helpful for me to figure out what type of cat she is (which is a mainecoon) - yours looks definately like a domestic short hair, but can also be another breed as well, like a mixed breed. you can look through the cats on there and get more information.

I have one just like him! He's a orange tabby domestic shorthair. In other words, he's just the average housecat (Tabby refers to color pattern, not breed)

Domestic Short Hair (DSH for short) tabby. Looks male - is he? Gorgeous kitty meow meow... looks a bit like my Pezza.

He is sooooo pretty! Oh, sorry, he is a DSH (domesticated short hair) orange tabby. I had one that looked just like yours. He is very pretty!
