To prove the point I wouldn't use
Anyhows, I went to the store, so why use ANYWAYS???

Use anyway. I'm not sure anywayS exists in English grammar and language.

i would use anyway because it is the correct word to use since it is a proper English word... there's no such thing as anyways--just for people who want to use unique "made-up" words to stand out!!! :)
