Use 1/2 cup of plain applesauce. It'll be way more healthy than butter any day. The brownies will turn out nice & moist too. I use this subsititute in my cake mixes, usually it's 1/3 cup sub there. If you use cinnamon, strawberry or other flavored applesauce, the flavor will come through into the brownies, giving them a unique flavor. I've used strawberry applesauce in strawberry cake mixes or cinnamon in a spice cake mix.
My grandma gave me this sub idea years ago when she found it in one of her magazines for healthier eating.

Nothing happens. The style is the same. While you use butter the preparations are more "heavy", you discover that after consuming some pieces and provided that you examine with margarine truffles. I normally use margarine in my desserts, however there are some recipes that need the fats given by using butter, however, this are chef's distinctions, no longer for residence preparations. That you can also use oil, the thing is there are some vegetable oils which have fairly strong tastes, they could wrong your cakes. Try with corn oil, 100 grams of butter = 2 little cups of oil. With oils and margarine cooking is constantly more cost-effective. Just right luck!

Olive oil is healthier but it might give your brownies a little different flavor. Then again, there's so much chocolate in the brownie mix you might not notice it. I don't think butter will work. Good luck! Hope they turn out great!

Yes you can. Just use the same amount of melted butter. I don't know why some people object to butter. I make my brownies from scratch, and every single recipe I have tried started with melted butter. I've never had a brownie made with butter that tasted bad.

Gross, DO NOT put olive oil. Instead try to melt some butter and add it in the mix. It will be more fattening, but at least they'll have a better taste than putting olive oil.
And it will not be "more healthier", because it loses most of its nutrients when it is put in a lot of heat.

Margarine would work or shortening. Olive oil could add a different flavour, you could use Corn or another light tasting oil. you may need to reduce the liquid in the recipe a little. Good luck!

clarify your butter, then sure. Don't use olive oil, it is too savory. However if you use salted butter, don't add any more salt to your brownies, they won't need it. If your brownies don't call for salt and all you have is salted butter, don't worry brownies need a little salt to make them truely delicious!

Olive oil would be better. Might taste just a little bit different, but they will be healthier. Butter makes them taste odd!
