Barack Obama the guy that is running for president and will be in the next year or so. I did some research on him and people are only saying good things about him.

One of the descriptions of the Anti Christ is he will dominate mankind and fool them with kindness and diplomacy.

this guy seems to good to nice to everything. so far his ratings are sky high. i dont know where people got the idea that bush may be te Anti christ he made war the Anti christ will cease wars to fool mankind to worship and love him, and this guy Barack Obama is entiating peace.

Bible says everything that seems to good to be true is,. this guy seems to good to honest to everything im sorry he does.

in no way shape or form am I saying he's the Anti Chjrist just the descriptions of the Antichrist is something to consider with him

This has nothing to do with me liking him or not.
I'm basing it he matches some of the Anti Christs description. and he wont be in power for a few years now. but he matches several descriptions of Satan reincarnated.

About the rapture now the bible does speak of the rapture but it dont say rapture. it says caught up. which thats wht rapture means

Antichrist means against or instead of Christ. The term applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his kingdom and all who mistreat his followers. Barak Obama seems to be a nice person whose faith in God has been chronicled especially in the autobiographical book he wrote. Based on the above criteria, it would appear that Neil S and monkey lady are more Antichrist than Mr Obama.

Funny, that's the second time today someone told me that got a bad feeling about Obama. Incidentally, I saw potential in both Bush and Clinton for the role. I never felt either actually was THE Antichrist, but I saw anti-Christian (that is, not against Christ ostensibly, but proffering a version of Christ contrary to Jesus Christ as revealed in scripture) characteristics. As a pre-trib rapturist, I believe Christians will be gone when "the Antichrist" comes to power, but he'll probably be a key player in the months and years leading up to his unveiling. Seems each successive one looks more and more like "the one!"

I think it's interesting that some are saying that he can't be because some prophecies haven't been fulfilled yet. I mean, he could be the one, just not revealed as the one just yet. I actually don't think he is, but just because he's on the world stage today in no way disqualifies him.

Fifimsp: the rapture is in the Bible. It's from the Greek word harpazo in 1st Thessalonians 4:17. And when people say "the Antichrist," they are referring to the false prophet who will deceive the world prior to the second coming of Jesus.

While it is possible that the anti-Christ may already be upon the earth this would suggest that the rapture is very soon. Because the church must be raptured before the anti-Christ comes upon the scene to propose a seven year plan of peace- before committing the abomination of desolation during the middle of that time- and from there well be the seventieth week of Daniel for Christ's 2nd Return.

i personally think because the Scriptures teach that no one knows the hour or the day- our job is to just watch and pray. i find your observation interesting (and good watching) but to speculate as to who the anti-christ is we really don't know (we know that as a believer we'll be raptured out) so we're better off focusing on sharing Jesus with others.

People thought Ronald Wilson Reagan (was the Anti-Christ) because of the # of letters in his name, 666. And we've had countless speculations and theories. i say let's just focus on the main thing: fulfilling the great commission...

The Anti-Christ is actually never mentioned in revelation. There are actually only like 5 verses in the Bible that mention the Anti-Christ and it's in Jhon I and II. Most things we know about the Anti-Christ is not from the Bible, or if there is an actual man who is going to be the Anti-Christ. Stop worrying. Sounds like you are a Christian anyways. So if the end is near you will be caught up in the rapture, oh wait, that's not in the Bible either. Nevermind.

The Antichrist will deceive even some of the Christians. The idea that Obama is the Antichrist is redundant because Obama does not captivate the Christians.

Why do all political opponents have to be the anti-christ and jot just political opponents? I doubt that I will vote for Obama in a primary, because I don't think he has the experience yet. He did show good judgement in opposing Iraq back when it matteredand it was esepcially brave given his race and name.

If you don't like Obama why don't you just explain why, instead of calling him the Anti-Christ. I despise president Bush, but I won't call him a demon either.

I will not say Obama is or is not the Antichrist. My gut feeling is, the Antichrist will be a Muslim posing as the Muslim's awaited Mahdi (a kind of messiah - a Caliph). If he isn't, he'll be someone who panders to the Muslims of the Middle East and the world.

When it comes down to the wire - its only at that point will we even get a clue who the Antichrist is .., some of us will.., most will be blind to it and make fun of those who warn about him.

SO WHO CAN BE CATAGORIZED AS THE ANTICHRISTS?

1) ANYONE WHO DENIES JESUS AS TRULY THE MESSIAH. THIS IS BACKED BY 1 JOHN 2:22.

2) THOSE WHO OPPOSE CHRIST TRUE FOLLOWERS, FOUND IN JOHN 15:20,21.

3) BASICALLY ANYONE WHO WILLFULLY REFUSE TO AKNOWLEDGE JESUS AS THEIRE LORD AND SAVIOR, AND WHO ALSO INTENTIONALLY OPPOSE OR PERSECUTE HIS FOLLOWERS, AND DO NOT FOLLOW GOD'S LAWS.

No he is not the antichrist. The antichrist will not be reveild until the church is raptured by Jesus to Heaven. The ID of the antchirst is only Know by God himself and no one will find out until he is revield the to world until after the christians are taken of the earth. Apostile Paul said the lawless one will not be revield until the restrainer is taken out of the way. So nope, Obama is not the antichrist. Take a look at King Abdullah. of Jordan.
