It is up to each kid's parents to decide what is suitable for them.
You decided that watching "Fear Factor" is suitable for your 6 year old, which is your right as a parent. However, other parents may find "Fear Factor" unsuitable for their children, and they may resent you introducing their kids to it.
Personally, I find some of "Fear Factor", particullarly the part in which people eat disgusting things, to be degrading to the participants, and I would not let my 10 year old watch it.
I would also be upset if someone encouraged my kids to degrade themselves in order to win prizes.
Yes, using gummi worms is cute and relatively harmless... Perhaps you could keep all of the activities equally harmless, and avoid recommending the show to the guests in any way?
Maybe just don't mention the name "Fear Factor"?
I think that this would enable you to have the party you want without upsetting some of the parents (ones like me :-) ).

Even if the child is one who happens to like Fear Factor, I'd think a lot of the guests wouldn't find it very appealing. A lot of parents wouldn't either. I think you run the risk of having a lot of no-shows.
They have their whole lives for that kind of thing if they turn out to be people who find that type of stuff appealing. I think having a more "positive" and pleasant party would be nicer.

here are some ideas:
1) Almond slivers and chocolate pudding mix them together and it looks really sick. Could make them stick there hands in it or eat it.
2) get an ironing board set it on some books, get a fan set it on low and blind fold the children and tell them to walk across, you cann add more difficult stuff, like holding a glass of watter on top of the head, so on and so on
3) puzzles are also good, have them work in teams to solve riddles. Ex. e maile me if you need any ideas
i did this for my students in my 3rd grade class, make sure you have a camera and you go over everything with the parents ahead of time

Sure why not. Have the kids eat cold spaghetti in place of worms. Have them throw diapers away. Blagh!! Heck if you wanted to get weird you can have the butcher order you a pigs head and hide a key in it to a cheap safe filled with candy and party favors.

I don't see why not, although for a girl that's kind of odd. They sell fear factor candy and ice cream now though, so it's possible, but for a girl, I'd try something a little more pink.

you could, but make the challenges easier. at a camp i worked at, we had fear factor, and for one of the challenges, they had to eat baby food, which is actually disgusting if you get the right kinds, but completely harmless.

Does she love FearFactor?
Then I don't see why not, as long as she realizes that those stunts are never to be replicated at home and it is just TV. It would be cute to have snacks like gummi worms and things like that.
