can i recycle crushed cans \ bottles? this is prob. a stupid question but i really dont know. and how much do i get for each one??

i live in cali btw, if anyone knows how much CA pays. i was asking because the machines i usually use scans the barcode/upc thing, and if its crushed, then the machine couldn't tell.

Heck yeah!! Look up the nearest Aluminum recycling place. It depends on where you are as to what price you will get for the cans.
Just look in the yellow pages under recycling.

Yes. The price is different in each state. I got about $40 for like six full garbage bags of cans. Bottles are worth even less.

oh yeah if you take off the can top pop thingy and collect them in empty milk gallons those are worth money too. Last time i checked they were worth $80 bucks per gallon.
