Get some nerve and ask her out! Life is too short to wonder what if? Even if she says no at least you will know where you stand with her and move on. Go for it and good luck!

Hey man, get the nerve. Life is short. Go for it. The worst she can say is, "no". And if she does, don't take it personally. Just be confident when you ask her. After all, you just want to go have a good time right? Who doesn't want that? What should temper your nerves is that fact that it's possible that while you're out with her you may discover she's not as great as you thought. Keep that in mind. Go for it. Worst case scenario is you'll learn something from the experience. Good luck.

You either continue being a wuss for the rest of your life or stand up to a woman and ask her for her phone number. Fear of rejection is the only psychological factor holding you back. You might as well face it because when you never ask her out, you've already failed. Just as in baseball, you can never hit the ball if you don't swing. You may ground out or even strike out but it's certainly better than not swinging at all. If you strike out on this girl, swing for another girl (not hitting her). After swinging enough amount of times, you'll eventually make it to first base (the phone number). And if you get really good eventually you may hit home run.

PS: I'm not a baseball fan.

I often believe that what defines a true fondness towards someone is the ability to overcome your fear *eventually* by asking her out. Do not fear the fear of rejection. Be a man and ask her out. Strike light conversations first and go with the flow.

You're in luck ... Valentine's Day is only a few days away ... send her a note and some flowers. Put your phone number in the note and let her make the first move and decide if she wants to call or not.

Good luck!

Respect her and be really good friends with her. Although some times you just have to come out with it and ask her. Maybe you could indirectly ask her out. Invite her to some get together and then later maybe she'll go out with you because she remember what a great time she had with you earlier.

Hope it works out!

Write an open honest letter of how you feel to her. After all Valentine's Day is here, a perfect cover up excuse if she takes it the wrong way than you want her to.
