it's "e pluribus unum". you can find it on a dollar bill (i think). i actually have a dollar with me to check, but i'm too lazy to dig into my pocket.

it means "from the many are one". think the words pural, unity. I guess you see this in a greek philosopher maybe quoted in politics.
