went out on a first date.. tried to kiss the girl but she kissed me on the cheek. as i guy, should i feel rejected or happy that shes not 'easy'... any perspectives welcomed!

It's too soon to tell. It's the first date, so she may feel it's too soon for the kiss. Or maybe it was her way of telling you that it's not working.
The only way to know for certain would be to ask her. It could be casual, such as, "How did you think the date went?" to gauge her feeling, or if you think you might have overstepped the boundaries, tell her it was unintentional and you didn't mean to make her uncomfortable.
I'm not a mind reader, and neither are you--I say just ask her.

Hahahaha, I do that to my bf sometimes! Think it's funny when I trick him and he doesn't mind, cause I always kiss him on the lips afterwards but yeah...I think you should be happy she's not easy. Seriously, like usually girls nowadays would be all over their guy and stuff but don't take it too personal. Look at it on the humourous side. Its good to laugh a little. Wait till you get her comfortable with you and try it again. :]

well it depends on what ur in the realtionship for if its love you should be very happy because if she wont give u a kiss on the lips it is almost impossible for her 2 cheat on u but if ur trien 2 jus get n her pants ur S.O.L.

Happy, but also aware that she won't be easy to get. You will probably have to work to get her to trust you.
