I had my titanus shot 6 days ago and i felt swollen in my upper arm for 'bout 3 days. I thought, everything will be back to normal after a few days, then I woke up 2 days ago scratching my arm and felt a big bump below an inch or two to where my shot is. It's red and very itchy..and bumpy. it feels like a bite. the size is like a normal size of a leaf and it's red. I don't know if this is normal or what. but how come the swollen part is not on the spot where the shot is? Please help..need some answers. thanks!

go to your doctor sound as though you have developed a cellulitis...which is and infection around the puncture site..this is common and if caught in time..antibiotics can cure it without going into the hospital for i.v. therapy...also moist hot pack directly to the area in question will give a little relief if painful to touch

it is not normal but it is common, you are probably allergic to the liquid in your shot, go to your doctor to check it

Sounds as if you may be allergic to it. Call your doc & let him/her know. It could also be infected, but that's unlikely.
