Call the dentist, you might have an infection and if you do you need antibiotics before they pull the tooth.
Over the counter Anti inflamitory drugs, like Advil or Alleve, will help reduce the swelling/pain but they make you bleed worse after the extractions.
You're going to have to stick with Tylenol until you get the good drugs from your dentist next week.
Hope it feels better soon.

I'd recommend a product like Anbesol that has benzocaine in it; it's a pain-killer that is availalbe OTC. Also, take some Advil to help with the swelling. If it's REALLY bad, contact your dentist and see if he can prescribe something like Tylenol 3 to help you make it through until the tooth can be pulled.

Try taking 600-800mg (typically 3-4 over the counter pills) of Ibuprofen every 8 hours. This will help reduce the pain and also the swelling. DO NOT exceed 3200mg/day as that amount may be damaging to your liver.

It doesn't taste good, but warm very salty water will help with the swelling and pain. You could also take some ibruprofen to help with the pain.

Advil and warm salt water. You will probably have to take a hefty dose of Advil so don't do it for too long.

get wash rags and wet them then ring them out a little and put them in the microwave and heat them then put them on your checks/jaws and just keep warming them and hold them there, with just a little bit of pressure, also take ibubrofen(or however you spell it)
