Surprisingly I actually know what you're talking about...

None of the above. You just eat it like normal. All the flavor, just without the extra tough chew. I love jerky of all sorts... Mmm... Jerky. Hey, thanks for the question, you just gave me a great idea...

Yes, it is meant to emulate chewing tobacco, but a more healthy alternative....remember candy cigarettes? Same concept.

I guess older people with no teeth or digestive problems, who really like jerky, might benefit from this product as well.

This is probably the jerky manufacturers highest margin product.

Take the crappiest meat you can buy and grind it up, bombard it with chemicals and sell the smallest portion for .99

If you took real jerky (like those found on www.toxictommy.com) and shredded it and used it as chew, then you would be talking!!!

Of course, a 4 ounce bag would shred into one hockey puck of chew and what you pay .99 for would cost you $6!!!

it was a gimmick in late 70's so kids can act like adults that chew tobacco same with big league chewing gum so kids can feel like major league pitchers that chew tobacco it , and you still have to chew beef jerky so no difference there actually the chew is tastier imho

I love beef jerky!!! It is an essential part of any road trip. I make my own when I hike. The shredded stuff just chews easier.

P.S. I'm really digging all the women who like Beef Jerky.....Who knew.
