Pakistan and India. Now Iran and N.Korea. How many nations will want or get nukes in the next 50 years?

You know eventually some puffed up loony will use nuclear weapons to avenge a slight to his ego or something as equally maniacal. What can we do to prevent these horrid weapons from spreading any further?

We need zero tolerance. And that includes USA, Russia, France, Britain...

How can we have nuclear weapons and ask, no demand, that others have none? It makes no sense.

Then to make it worse we endorse and aid India's nuclear ambitions even though it has not signed the NPT. We need to reverse this. India getting a nuke means Pakistan having a nuke and that's a horrible situation.

USA has signed the NPT which by law (as passed by US lawmakers) we are committed to destroying our nuclear arsenal. We need to commit to this law. I think it has some weird renewal policy which needs to be fixed.

Finally, foreign policy that handles nuclear powers like North Korea with kid gloves and hammers non-nuclear states like Iraq just says one thing loud and clear to any whacko dictator: "get nukes" - hence Iran's desire.
So we need people in government who make smart foreign policy decisions.

Every one wants a nuke, even Canada & Guam. The problem is that not everyone has stated that the annaliation of Israel is their National policy, only a few select space cadets like Iran. I don't think global warming is the biggest threat to humanity as a species, I think nukes, and war mongering lunitics who want to monopolize the worlds oil supply is our biggest worry. If Bush ever converted to Islam the fundalmentalist terrorsists of the world would repent and accept Jesus Christ as their savior just to escape the insanity of the situation.

The only way to prevent Iran from getting a nuke is to give them one, with say Teran as ground zero. Then make sure the survivors understand Mecca and Medina are on a very short list should the maniacal ego puffing continue.

Everyone wants them. It is kind of like 3 aces in poker. However that is why there are so many nations that try to limit the expansion of the nuclear age. We do not want to have to call the pot with "ALL IN"

North Korea is the one. (or any of axis of evil)
Compare that country power to any other country. It has none. If we allow THEM to get nukes, then mostly everyone else should be allowed to possess them simply to combat those of the axis of evil.
