Yes. It contains eggs and milkfat, so yes, it expires.

Depending on rather or not you freeze it, and how you package it, cookie dough can last about 3 months in the freezer and still be of great quality. I'm sure even longer, actually, but three months is the only thing I'm positive of. To my understanding, pre-formed cookie dough can be kept in the refridgerator for also a very lengthy amount of time. I rarely have to do either, I just send what I don't use as gifts to friends not living nearby.

Yes! Look for the expiration date on store bought dough and I just found a site that said it can be frozen for 3 months.

I'm fairly certain that it will in fact expire. It contains raw ingredients. I would check the packaging, unless you have made it yourself. I'm not sure how you figure out the shelf life of home made cookie dough.

mmmm cookie dough sounds so good right now. :) Yes it can expire, but you've got a while, especially if you freeze it.
