pillar candle in a hurricane on a mirror tile, sprinkle flower petals around, or votives in simple holders with petals. it's simple, pretty, and will give a wonderful glow to the room. Check with the site or caterer handling your reception. They may be able to provide you with something at no cost.

Wow, this is a tough one, because so much will depend on your taste, the wedding style, time of day, budget, etc.
If you're on a low budget, how about a square mirror tile with thick candles of different heights or colors and some greenery or baby's breath interspersed around it. Just check with the catering places to see if candles are allowed.

A very good centre piece should be something that people will enjoy and remember your wedding for ever; not something that will just get thrown in the trash later on. Try candles with a decorative stand. People will enjoy them a lot longer then you'd think. If you give away the centre piece as a prize to your guests; they will remember the day when they look at it

Look on Martha Stewart.com or get her wedding magazine. I saw something on her show a couple of weeks ago where she and a designer glued some silk flowers on one of those fancy wedding shower umbrellas and called it some kind of chandelier. Looked pretty simple to do, but I can't remember how they placed it on the table or over the table. Otherwise, seasonal flowers that some of the guests can take home and plant. Best wishes on your marriage.

Place 3 votive candles in your wedding colors in the center of the tables. Buy some wedding confetti or confetti in your wedding colors and sprinkle it around the candles. Simple, eye catching and pretty.

Wednesday night or EARLY Thursday morning go to Wal-Mart. They will have all of their Valentine's merchandise marked down. Keep checking back or go to several if you are in a large city. Buy some low bowls and put Heart confetti and different Valentines "toys" in them. The guests can take the toys home and it makes a good conversation piece.

I would go with a low center piece, it u want it simple. What is the lighting? If its low lighting then go with candles and stick a few flowers (same as your theme color) in between the candles. Have your candles be different heights and mabye wrap them in the theme color linen. Congrads on your wedding!!

Fill a bowl with water and put some floating candles in it. You can tint the water to match your colors. Or get a bowl and put a single full bloomed rose head in it.

If you want something simple yet classy, I'd definitely put a couple of lily's in a vase.. depending on the season, you can add a touch of soft colours (ex-Carnations).
