Ok - my boyfriend is great, just not that romantic.

I'm worried that he won't get me anything for V-day. Yes, I know it sounds bad of me to want a gift - but I like to have things that make me think of him.

I already got him something small - now here is the question.... do I hint to him that I would like something? It doesn't have to be expensive - just something small to show that he cares and thinks about me.

What do you suggest? ...

tell him u got him something for v-day. either straight forward, or "side swipe it" in conversation(ex. talking about what to do for v-day and saying "We can exchange gifts before (blank)" or sound like, out of nowhere "oh yeah, I got you something for v-day"

I would say that even if he isnt a romantic, he's got something planned, and if you really believe that he doesnt, of course you should hint to him that you'd like something. Just start into a casual conversation about valentines day and whisper "i got you something" really excitedly. Then work off of his reaction. Good luck! Hope all goes well!!!

I don't see anything wrong with being BOLD, & DIRECT. After all, men are not mind readers, & if it weren't for women some of them couldn't get dressed the next day. So don't just hint that you want something, Tell him exactly what you want or tell him that you want something, but you want him to pick it out, it would mean more to you.

Make plans on doing something for valentines and have him pay that way its his gift to you if he forgets then at least he took you out on a nice date.
My husband always forgets. So we went to a movie tonight instead of waiting for him to forget. I have to remember that everyday he gives me gifts even if they are not things. Just being with him is a funny kinda gift.

first rule...gifts are given and not asked. well for sure your boyfriend has something in store for Valentine's day. but if he doesn't...just have a back-up plan on your part. and if that does happen shame on him. but it will make him think better next time...that im sure of. hope this helped.

You should let him know if you have something specific in mind. But if not, you should let him choose. I doubt that he'll forget entirely.
