There's a principal in our town that is absolutely horrible. Many students, parents and teachers have had problems with her and we want to get her out. The DOE (Department of Education) is too cowardly to get rid of her and she's very slimy. It seems that our complaints go nowhere and she continues to ruin the lives of kids in the community. What's the best way to put pressure on her so that she'll be held accountable for what she has done?

First of all what has she done? If it is illegal call the police, if it is immoral got to the school board & or newspapers. Second, if she is that bad, go to the school baord and find out what steps are neccessary to get her fired or make her employment contract null & void. Do some digging. Once you find the evidence act on it.

Principals are if truth be told politicians. community attractiveness is what impacts them. in case you have valid lawsuits which may well be made public, and different comparable lawsuits are aired often, there will be political rigidity positioned on the vital to alter her habit or circulate away. it heavily isn't a rapid technique. you will choose the help and help of others prepared to be subjected to scrutiny for coming forward. endurance will repay. Or, in case you're on the "incorrect section" of this argument, interior the community's eyes, you will appear like a whining brat.

why dont you go and dust of that video camera and put it to good use. I mean catch her in the act of doing something absolutely rediculous then turn the tape over to the proper authorities. Voice recorders are usefull for that too. gotta be really sneaky about that tho. Maybe get a few friends and plan something out, something you know she'd do from experience.
ORRRRR theres always the petition... get everyone and their mother to sign a paper saying they want her replaced with someone better suited for the job.
Option one might be a little more fun tho :-)

Keep reporting her to the school board as well as the department of education for your state. Do not let her intimidate you and if you can prove a case file charges in the courts this will get your point across.
Get a petition going for her removal and state the grounds in which you feel she needs to be removed.

While you need proof for the DoE or courts, the news media will only need strong evidence and a good angle. The DoE will have no choice but to suspend pending an enquiry. At that point the poop has already hit the fan.

Kidnap her kids. No, don't do that, but seriously their is no way because the teacher's unions are worse then organized crime and if they are supporting the admins then it's a nightmare. Sounds to me like you have a personal beef with her, and that's your business, but look objectively, it's not an easy job. Everyone answers to somebody, so just look one notch up and raise holy hell. Write letters to the local press, etc. Good Luck. DOWN WITH THE MAN!

Why don't you stop whining and get to work. If you don't like your principal, have mommy and daddy put you in private school where they can dictate their wants. Life is full of people you won't like but have to deal with. Put on your big boy underpants and get a life!

Call the local news stations and tell each of them that the other stations are doing a report on this crappy principal. That will get the ball rolling.

Start a petition drive and get as many people to sign it as you can. Then take it to one of your local TV stations and tell them the story.

They WILL run it on the air on the news. That will get her fired fast.

Emily X is right on the money. Get the largest group you can together and go to the city council meeting.
