What you may be seeing is the tooth starting to lighten just not all of it at once or even. So it may have some whitish speckles and parts are darker or more the color your tooth was naturally. Parts of the tooth, especially closer to the tissue are harder to bleach and take longer. So if this is what you are experiencing, then it's normal. Make sure when you place the strips they are fitted close to the teeth and don't leave any lifted or unattached areas. Hope I've been of some help and good luck with the bleaching.
