A washing machine is an electrical device, not an electronic device.
In the 1930's electronic devices would be the radio (transmitter and receiver) and record player. Perhaps others will list a few more.

Odd question.
Let's see. Telephone, crystal sets, radio, international coaxial cable North America to England, wireless, washing machine, toaster, electric stove, electric trolley, elevator, experimental television, primitive computer, navigation beacons, electric devices such as the escalator, wire photo, phonograph, player piano for recording and playback, recording on wire and even refrigerators.

Refrigerators, radios, washing machines, victrolas (an early record player) among others. Also TV was invented in the 30's. The first TV broadcast was in NY around 1937 or 38. Google TV, invent and see what you find.

It depends if you mean literally "electronics', as opposed to "electric" devices and appliances.
In the late teens and early 1920's, as radios developed vacuum tube devices, electronics was developed by the broadcasting and radio industries, until the first test equipment like oscilloscopes, etc. x -ray tubes and equipment and finally image tubes ushered in the electronic television era in the late 1920's.
Your example of a washing machine would not be classed as electronics. It was electrical, not electronic. As far as I know there were not any tubes in washers. etc.

Radios. Victrolas. Telephones (mostly with party lines). Maybe a few washing machines with no spin cycle so they had the rollers on the top. No TVs. No refrigerators. No clothes dryers. No microwave ovens. No air conditioners. No calculators, computers or even electric typewriters.

lets see, radios, toasters, telephones and I'm not sure of washing machines. There's probably more that I can't think of.
