You've just pointed out another of the great Christian hypocrisies.
Christians are happy to partake in the fruits of the endeavors of atheists, but will harshly judge those same individuals on the lifestyle they have chosen.
Think about this... 90% of them are using a computer running an OS created by an agnostic/atheist (Gates) and the other 10% are using a computer (Apple) created by an atheist (Steve Wozniak.)
It's like the vegetarians who won't eat beef on principal, but have no problem wearing leather jackets because they are fashionable.

Verses atheist should not be only the christians, but include many others.
Thus, atheist scientists r in a group within a minority.
Science itself is based on the belief that there r laws n principles in this universe, unless someone is trying to prove otherwise. These laws n principles r much more likely to be designed, rather than by chance.
Thus, if scientific findings dismiss something, it is not about the existence of Creator. It may be the misunderstandings of scriptures that describe the creator.

Actually, up until recently all advancements in science have been at the hands of Christians. Then Darwin came along and said we're retarded fish monkeys and ever since then science has just been used for genocide (vaccinations, abortion, etc.). Check out IrateCinemaUnderground.com's "Evolutionary Genocide" and "Vaccination Plantation: a Celebration!" for more information.

Good point. The problem is most christians have an almost incredible mix of arrogance and naivete. In spite of the fact that their god is allowing some 20,000 children to die of starvation and disease every single day, each one of them believes they are 'special' and has a 'personal relationship' with jesus. They think they will be exempt from any diseases that would benefit from stem cell research, etc. They are in for a rude awakening.

So all the important scientific discoveries have been made by atheist scientists, eh?
So nice to know that Louis Pasteur's little dabblings into microbiology meant nothing. He was Catholic, BTW. And he was only one of many scientists who were/are believers.

You make this statement under the assumption that Christians fear death. We, in a sense, can't wait to die...we will be united with our Lord and Savior. We will attain righteousness once and for all. What a glorious day our death will be.

Apologize to scientists about what. THEM making the A-BOMB. It certainly wasn't a CHRISTIAN that did that! I don't recall OPPENHEIMER being a Christian surname!
Now, GO explain WONDERFUL science to people in Hiroshima, Japan!

We are already are saved by Jesus. How can "technology" show that there isn't a god?
Question?
If there is no God, how did the universe begin? Big bang you say! Before the explosion, where did the particle or dense matter come from?

Over the course of time, there have been significantly more Christian and other religious scientists in quantity than atheists.
Don't assume that religion makes someone anti-science.
Furthermore, don't judge people in groups. It's tacky and just poor behavior.
