My boyfriend invited me to a wedding and it's this Friday it's for his aunt and my boyfriend and I are in high school,so I'm not going to over do it, but I still want to make a good impression. The wedding will be held in his garage. His WHOLE family will be there, I've never been to a wedding in a garage, but my boyfriend said he's going to wear a suit. My mom suggested a Spring dress,but neither one of us really have a clue. Thanks...

It's winter, and it's in a garage. I'd say some wool slacks (or a wool skirt and boots) and a dressy sweater.

You should try a spring dress. If your thick wear nice pants, preferrably slacks, white or beige, and a very fancy shirt. Like a baby doll shirt, or one of those dresses that go over pants. With matching sandals, it says I'm still in high school, but I can still be mature. A wedding in a garage that's highly unusual. I hope his garage is big enough for his whole family. Good luck.

Hmm..well I'd say anything you might wear to church or dinner would certainly be appropriate for a wedding in a garage! Be sure to bring a coat or something so you don't freeze to death. Just dress in something low-key and you will be fine. I don't know about a spring dress for a garage wedding...you might be overdressed!

You should dress comfortably. Nothing too short, too sexy, or too fad-ish. Wear stockings unless you're going to the beach. Makeup tastefully done. Keep jewelry to a minimum. Remember less is more.
