My friend told me that girls normally have no idea that a guy likes them until they tell them straight up that they do? Even if i made it plainly obvious that i liked a girl, she wouldnt know? Just curious cuz i went to a party lately and this girl was there that i like and i was all smiles and starry eyed and i KNOW she looked at me at least a hand full of times... she still wouldnt know??
i mean id know if a girl liked me...

i always know if a guy likes me because of what they do. I think she does know you like her because you gave an effort. The straight out aproch is hard but girls like it and they will act like they don't think they know when they really do just to get you to tell them. And it does work for the girls

You and your buddy shouldn't generalise like that, you know.
Some girls are much more alert to attention than others. For some girls all you'd have to do was look in her direction a few times and smile seductively and she'll know... for others you might very well have to hold her down and tell her in so many words that you are crazy about her before she'd get the hint.
My suggesiton though - if by the third time you've smiled/flirted with her she still doesn't seem to get it - go tell her dude!!!

no i don't think she would know for sure. Have you seen all the questions from girls on here asking if guys like them or not. Some guys even tell the girls that they are thinking about them, and the girls sometimes still don't get it.

Well, speaking for myself, I can't always tell when a guy likes me. I've been wrong and surprised before. Find a cute way to tell her. Valentine's day is coming up. Get her a rose and a card and let her know that way.

That's true. If you never speak up and confront us straight, how would we know that you like us? Somehow, guys may treat girls just like a best friend.

hmm not all gurls are that blind.. hahahah :) if they have low self esteem they'll probably jsut be like,"omg why is that boy lookin at me? is there sometihng on my face?!" lol<3 but if the girl is confident, she might say somethin' like, "ooohh. i thinkt aht boy right there likes me..." so yeah it basically all depends on the girl and how she is when it comes 2 boys. but girls do like a confident guy who knows what they want so maybe u should try 2 tell this girl you like her :)<3
