Age is one of the more relative things in this life. I'm 70 and my wife is 61 and that is no distance. At 24 and 18 it appears to me to be only a couple days apart. But if you were 16 and she were 10 you wouldn't even look at her. By the time you're 50 and she's 44 you won't even think about it. Right now the gap may be large if you are out of college or in graduate school and she is just entering college...or there are some other economic, employment or cultural reasons for the difference seeming to be great. As the years go on, the significance shrinks. There are probably other things much more serious to worry about.

The age of consent is 16 in South Australia, but I wouldn't touch anyone below 18.
My main preference is 25+ (and under 55)

I'm 18 and I think three years older is enough for now. Anything younger is too young..and illegal.

There should be no restriction on age (ok unless you're 24 and she is 13!)
My boyfriend is 10 years older than I am (he's 40 and I'm 30) and beleive me I am more than happy - well so happy I will be marrying him in December 2007!!!!!!!!!!!
