I have sever body ache since past 15 days. For first five days I had cold, cough, fever. But now only body ache. I dont feel like getting up from bed. I think I got these symptoms tranferred from my husband who had the same symptoms for about 4 days. I took Ibuprofen 200 whenevre it was severe. But I ddidnt find much relief from that. Now I dont have fever or cough, but have sever bodyache. I have in my legs(muscles?) and whole body. Can anyone please tell me is this is Flu. Please tell me what should I do.

Yes, it's flu, and you should have gone to the doctor days ago. But if you won't go to the doctor, I recommend taking 3 Aleve, or naproxen sodium and going to bed. It is not the recommended dosage. But it will give you the rest you need, and give the aches some relief. I swear by it.
Also, honey, lemon juice, a bit of bourbon, and hot water will make you feel better, too. Good luck and feel better.

My daughter has been in daycare since she was 8 weeks old and was sick quite often for the first few months but she's gotten a lot better. In May of this year she had a fever with no other symptoms, the doctor thought it was a UTI, but it wasn't. After about 2 days the fever broke and she was perfectly fine. She's also had a stomach virus a few times which caused her to have a fever. If his fever persists over the next couple of days I would take him back to the doctor, just to be on the safe side.
