Until you are ready and feel comfortable enough to move on.

Wait as long as you need to. Are you over your ex? By "over", I mean are you no longer in love with them? If you no longer want to be with your ex, it's probably a safe time to move on.

There's no rule that says how long you should wait, but 3 weeks is a little short. Relationship-hopping is a habit people get into often without much benefit. Take your time before you get into another relationship and make sure you really want it.

a week for every month you've been together, or if you are asking, instead of going based off how it is now, i would say you should try now. That is if, you want another relationship? If you are asking that must mean, you are curious, if you should give respect by mourning the lost of the relationship...so i think you are pretty much over him. Its just a matter if ur ready to be with someone again.

i think 3 weeks to a month is fine, but really, the right time depends on how you feel about the person your seeing and how they feel about you. whether its 3 days 3 weeks 3 months or even 3 years (god forebid) after your last partner. Just go with what feels right

My suggestion listen to your heart. Your heart will tell you when you are ready. Don't feel like you have to be in another relationship. You will be fine by yourself trust me. I know its nice to be in a relationship, but seriously take time for yourself reevaluate what you want, and what went wrong in this previous relationship. Just take your time and don't rush into anything. Hope this helps good luck to you.

Rebound relationships don't work - EVER.

If you find you are transfering your feelings for your ex onto this new partner, you are only setting yourself up for another painful breakup.

How long does it take to be able to love another without transfering old feelings and expectations on your new partner?

You can only test it and see, always asking yourself, "Am I loving this person, or am I loving my ex through his person?"

Good luck.

It depends on how long you were in the relationship with this person and how long it takes you to get over them.

As long as it takes for you to be comfortable around different men. It all depends on how long/deep your past relationship was. Take your time, because your heart/brain will be ready when they are ready.

Don't be "on the lookout for someone new" just go about your life and your interests. You will meet someone new!, that shares your interests and will care for you. I don't believe that you should set a time goal just let things happen as they will. Things will fall into place if you let them.

Give yourself some times to forget about the past. Once you are ready, then give it a roll. I think a year thereafter will do.

If you have to ask that Might mean you havent found someone yet.
Thats refreashing to see someone didnt break up because they want to be with someone else they've already found.
I would go searching. Let it happen..When it's time it'll happen
