well, whatever doesn't hurt you, makes you stronger. you can mourn over a break-up until your eyes bugout but you'll only feel like crap forever and i don't think anyone really wants that. i've had this before for a long time and have been a better person because of it. just give it time, everything fades with time. good luck to ya :]

There can't be a set rule for an emotional feeling. You can feel upset for as long as you feel upset. That's it. Most likely a person would feel upset until another relationship comes along. To the extent that sorrow and regret over a lost relationship prevent one from being open to a new relationship, to that extent it will take that long to overcome the mourning.

It all depends on individuality itself. Some may take a few months like 3 or 4 months. And i've heard of others who took about a year. To me, the best time is not important. It's how you manage to overcome the situation. Perhaps, less than 6months is the best!

depends how long u were together...i would say a few months is fine, it just depends on the individual and ur relationship with that person, how good it was, how u felt about them, y it ended etc.

It depends on how serious you were. If there is no chance to get back together, I would pick your self up and move on and not dwell on the past.
