Yeh, I agree with the guy above. I think V-day is mostly for us to show a girl why she's important to us. If you insist on doing something........ cook a meal....... that always goes over well. Oh, she also mentioned having never had a good Valentines day...so my competitiveness has kicked in, i definately planon going over the top. Hope this helps

I think it's wrong to EXPECT a gift, it defeats the thought put into it. I'd be a bit surprised, but it wouldn't particularly upset me.
Ideally, I'd like a delicious meal cooked at home, just the two of us.
Then perhaps a delicious dessert, maybe more than just the two of us.

Call me old fashioned, but I think V-Day should be all about making your woman feel good. Knowing I've made her happy is the only thing I need, and the best thing I could possibly get.
