I made to much tarter sauce for dinner tonight can I freeze what I have left over??

No - the oil will separate and you will end up with a curdled sauce.

To use it up, you could add more mayo, some ketchup & a bit of hot sauce to make it into a 1000 Island Dressing.

You could also use the tarter sauce as a base for tuna salad or chicken salad.

Tarter sauce is a mayonaise based product. It will separate if you freeze it, but it will keep for awhile in the fridge.

No you can't, sorry. You cannot freeze mayo, and it is based on mayo. It does last for a long time though, just like any salad dressing.
