I have heard (and read) that warmer or hot liquids, such as tea, water or even chx soup, help you feel better in that it helps open the nasal passages, relaxing and soothing even headaches (remember mm or grandma's homemade chix soup??)
If you boil regular tap water, it can take out impurities that you may not realize are there....but I would not drink it boiling!!!!
To me, water is water - even if frozen. However, I did some looking for ya on the following websites, that offer more of a "professional opinion" ... I hope it help!

it depends on ur purpose of drinking the water is. if you are like me and like to drink water when you have a sore throat or some other sickness.. it is more beneficial to drink it hot or warm rather than cold because if you have flem or something caught in your throat the warm water helps soothe and break up the congestion a little bit..m (@least for me)
but if you are talking in terms of just drinking water just for the sake of drinking water i do not believe the temperature makes a huge difference in ur health or anything like that... i think its just easier to drink when its cold. alot of peple just prefer to drink it cold.

i hope i was able to help u. ;)

Sorry cant help you with this one, but I did want to say something about previous posts. I went to Malaysia and Indonesia and they do not drink hot water. In fact they drink water with ice in it. They do drink a lot of hot tea but it's not the water that helps with the digestion. It's the tea.

I don't know. My dad was a Physician in Boston and he would drink a cup of hot water 1 - 2x a day. He was from Australia so he may have been influenced by European ideas.

Hot water aids in digestion... gets it all a-moving!

Cold water increases calorie burn because your body has to warm it up... well it cools your body's tissues down and then your body has to re-warm those tissues.

Take your pick!

They say it is to loose weight because the hotness puts the fat in liquid form instead of solid, and it gets out of your body faster. The same with tea. That is why most oriental people are skinnier.
