I am sorry, but no I wouldn't want a Muslim as President of the U.S.

After 9/11? They have made it quite clear, they do not believe we should have freedom of choice, They have also made it quite clear that all unbelievers should die. What kind of God DO they serve that condones this? You know, the saddest thing about Iraq?...Like Vietnam, they are not too sure who their enemies are.

How on earth could we trust any Muslim to be President of the U.S.
I could never feel safe if that were to ever happen.

Sorry if I have insulted any Muslims on board here, but please understand my stance on this. I do not claim to have the answers or the right, or the truth in anything. This is just as it is, "my opinion." In no way is this intended to insult anyone. But I don't think I could ever look or trust another Muslim again after seeing what they feel and are capable of.

i do no longer think of he's muslim. Being muslim myself........it has some united statesand downs. probable much less terror assaults.....yet while a muslim made it to presidency in u.s.......he probable would not bomb israel or make any considerable differences to american coverage. Its politics afterall. this would then piss off the fundies much greater and then we would fairly have greater terror assaults. additionally u.s. isn't waiting as an entire to have a non white / christian president. greater efficient probabilities of assasination and what no longer.

What America and the rest of the world needs in the next president is a rational person. That doesn't mean he/she HAS to be an atheist, but that sure would help.

Alas, it's impossible in America to be elected as an atheist.

If he is elected then it doesn't matter what I think. He's the president and nobody really has the choice to accept or reject that. You could spend the next 4-8 years with sour grape syndrome but what fun would that be?

Yeah, most Muslims go to Catholic school, like Mr. Obama did.

I would accept anyone who puts his hand on the Holy Bible to swear in for his or her Presidency. The key words here are "Holy Bible" not the quran.

Why not? Obama seems to be a good guy. But of course, after Bush, just about anyone seems good...

From what I know of Obama, I would vote for him if the election was tomorrow.

Hopefully this country will not make another mistake like GW.

No

I'd move to Australia or some other place that has more intellegence and common sense.

I cannot respect a man or woman who praises a man who has sex with 9 year old girls.
