I had the same problem with all of my kids, and I even asked the doctor for advice, and this is what he said-- Even though you know they don't want to drink it continue to offer, especially when you know they are thirsty! I was lucky to start them on water in the summer when they got more thirsty after an assertive activity. Another method is to let them see YOU drink water, because they love to immitate, and make haooy sounds like you are enjoying it to death AHHHHH OH THAT WAS SOOO GOOD' make them want some too. Another trick I had is I'd make frozen juices with more water and less juice until it was mostly juice flavored water. When they got a little older they would love to drink BOTTLED WATER out of the cute bottles. I didn't go with the idea of adding just a little raw sugar to their water, because there really was enough sugar in unsweeted fruit juice to keep them happy!!

some people say just dilute her juice a tiny bit at i a time without her seeing. Just 5 mls at a time. over 2 weeks or so it will be nearly all water. If she is like mine and doesn't fall for that buy a water cooler/filter with a tap she can operate herself. I actually put water into a water bottle from the shop and tell my 4 year old son that it is rainbow water...he drinks about a litre a day... So what I am saying is basically trick her...make it special. If she likes teddies tell her its teddy water if she loves flowers make it flower water...what ever works

Propel and things of that such are fine. Just make sure it doesn't have a lot of added sugar. My kids LOVE those child size sports bottle of water. Its just plain water, but they get it in the sports bottle so they think they are big stuff, lol. I know here they sell them for about a dollar for an 8 pk. So they are pretty cheap.
They also have those small pkgs of stir in flavors. My kids like those occasionally too.

I probably wouldn't use Propel, because it has artificial sweetener. Try giving her mostly water, with just a splash of juice. That's all you need to do to add some flavor. (And it's way cheaper.) Also, I noticed my daughter always wanted whatever I was drinking, so I would drink out of those squeeze water bottles in front of her, and she would always want to take it. If she took it from ME, she would drink it just fine.

Have you tried just flavored water? Not the kind with anything added like extra nutrients for athletes or anything. Also sugar free Kool Aid is better than nothing. Wal-Mart has some really good and cheap flavored waters that are sugar free and are clear if you are worried about artificial colors. My nephew is allergic to almost everything (even sugar) and he can drink them. It is a great alternative to water for him. My kids even like them and they are iced tea fanatics!

First, Propel is sweetened and has aLOT of artificial crap in it so it's bad for even adults to drink !
Okay, if she doesn't drink water, first don't force her or push her.
You could try watering down her juice and add more water each time untill she's drinking pure water and is used to the flavor!
UNSWEETENED chamomille tea, too.

We always watered down the juice for our kids; not a lot, but enough so they weren't getting as much sugar. We also had tea parties, using little cups and little shot glasses. If she won't drink much water, that's ok, as long as she's getting enough fluids otherwise.

my son is 18months old and from when he was 5months old i was giving him sips of water since it was HOTT at the time, i never had trouble with him drinking it until he was about 10months old, try baby juice or any juice but just water it down ALOT!! just so it has a different taste, then she will get use to it... or even try squeezing some orange or lemon into the water!!

I don't think you can get them to drink anything they do not want. My son just likes water, he didn't always but now he does.. on the flip side he wont touch ANY JUICE AT ALL.
