If you're not on perscribed medication, try not to be on any, unless your blood(BP) is really dangerously high... like above 140/90. De-stressing your life is one way to help lower BP. Eating healthier is another way and very important. Exercise is another one-just walking a mile each day helps a lot. Eat a lot of garlic and onions. Oh, take a tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar each morning, this home remedy truely helps alot! But still change your eating habits, too. Less salt, less fast foods and more fresh fruits and veggies.

Exercise. Not strenuous, but moderate and long. A good long walk, fast pace. Swimming at a moderate rate. Bicycle, etc.
Exercise daily....20 minutes at least......40 minutes better. Avoid weight lifting unless you keep the weights low.
Learn to read labels on all food and drink. Avoid salty foods. These include the obvious; pretzels, crackers, chips but also ketsup (use a tiny dab, don't drown your food), BBQ sauce, and so on. Shell fish can be quite salty.
Sodas have salt even the diet sodas (except for Diet Rite products).
Don't season with salt, use herb or salt free herb mixes.
Drink plety of water.
Avoid stress......learn how to control stress and anger.

Keep your weight down, avoid salty food, and try to lower the stress level in your life. If those don't do it it's time for medication to supplement those ideas.

Don't ask hard questions, you don't really want to know. It will only raise your blood pressure.
